Hello,
My name
is Yucel Kurtegyit, I live in Ankara, Turkey, in the Winter
and have a bar in Gumbet, Bodrum in the summer. I visited
Liverpool to stay with some very good friends in May.
I have
just seen your site and would like to contribute.
A few
years ago my friends brought me a present to Turkey, it was
a map of all the pubs in Liverpool City Centre which I put
up on the wall in my bar. I'm not sure how many pubs my friends
took me to but I do know that the choice of bars and pubs
in Liverpool is overwhelming. Everybody is really friendly
and always have time for you. Visiting them really gave me
loads of ideas on how to improve my bar in Turkey. The only
drawback is I fell in love with draught Guiness and unfortunately,
you can not buy this in Turkey.

I was
also taken to McCarthur Glen's Designer Outlet Village. I
was speechless. I have never seen anything like this before.
I did enjoy Thornton's - the chocolate is so much sweeter
than in Turkey. I did take practically a full suitcase of
chocolate home for my wife Nazler and my two children, Gizeme
and Zchara. I do hope their teeth don't fall out.
I made
a trip to the Beatles Story at the Albert Dock which was very
interesting because I've sung along with the Beatles songs
for many years.
I really
enjoyed my time in Liverpool and would love to come over again.
