Liverpool is now amongst the UK's top cities for nightlife. It is not only the clubs who have live music but many of the café bars and pubs have now also followed in their footsteps. Not all of them are based in the city centre but there are so many, they are too numerous to list. The Albert Dock is home to a mix of café bars some with DJ's and some with live music. The city centre itself has Mathew Street, the home of the famous Cavern. This too is surrounded by a wealth of music venues and clubs. We can't finish this page without mentioning Cream, which is situated near Concert Square. This music venue is known all over the world and is a must for the 'in' crowd.
