Figures released by the National Criminal Intelligence sService shows that arrests of Reds and Blues fans have dropped dramatically to 80 each. Last year Everton had 169 fans detained by the police and Liverpool 136. The new figures mean that Everton have tumbled from the top of the table to the middle, alongside Liverpool. The first division saw Tranmere Rovers as third best-behaved club even though their arrests rose from 7 to 12.
