Take a Seat

Four commemorative chairs have been installed in Harrington Street in the Cavern Quarter. The thrones were designed by Craig & Mary Mathews from Wallasey to commemorate each of the Beatles, and they were winners of a competition organised by the Cavern Quarter Initiative. Originally the thrones were meant to stand outside Labinskys pub but because of lack of space they have been in storage for more than 2 years. At last a suitable home has been found for them.
