The Walton Group, who has the option to redevelop Chavasse Park, has at last delivered their plans to the city council. Talks will now take place between council planners and the group's architects before the application is submitted to the planning committee for a decision. One of the world's top architects, 93-year-old Philip Johnson was hired to help devise the retail development. This will span more than 1.1 million square feet and features a dramatic roof in the shape of a wave.
